Big versus smalltype tablespaces on windows server 2019
Hi,
For a production OLTP system which is going to migrate from:
Source: Oracle database 12.1.0.2 , platform windows server 2012 R2
Target: Oracle database 19.17 , platform windows server 2019
The source database is using smalltype file system tablespaces , not OFS.
The same storage machine Hitachi Open-V will be used by target system.
The question is should big or smaltype tablespace be installed on target system?
