F4311 Edit Line function returns Cache error 078M

Have a custom batch application that reads data in a flat file and updates Purchase Order Header/Detail files. The process worked fine up until about a month ago and now the call to F4311 Edit Line returns a cache error 078M. Comparing parms to F4311 Begin Doc, Edit Line and End Doc with another batch application and they look fine but this process doesn't perform any updates.

Any help will be appreciated.
