E1 31 Issuing components to a dual UoM item

JDE Version 9.2

Hi everyone

I want to ask about a manufactured item with dual UoM control and component item used to produce it which is not a dual item.

Manufactured item has a Primary UoM = MT and Secondary = KG
Conversion factor 1 MT = .0315 KG
Component item was defined in KG to all UoM (Primary, Secondary, Production, Component).

Component item was defined to be issued in KG in the BOM.

Is this set up correct?

Do we need to set up an item conversion in the component between KG and MT?

What is the impact of producing a dual item in MT(KG and issuing parts in KGs?
