Depleting Inventory Using a bar code scanner - FSCM Inventory 9.2

Is there functionality in FSCM 9.2 Inventory where a user can use a scanner to deplete inventory?

The scenario is we have a warehouse of stocked items (user does not want this as a PAR location); whereby nursing staff can scan items as they use them to decrement the item master on hand quantity.
