Has anyone added attachments to the ESS Direct Deposit page using a drop zone or any other means?

Our users require paper backup for direct deposit changes. We would like to implement the attachment functionality but we are running into issues with the Drop Zone. We are considering customizing the page but would like to exhaust efforts towards using a Drop Zone.
