Siebel PAtching failed

in Siebel System Admin, Install and Upgrade (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hi,

We are installing Siebel 23.5 on top of Siebel 22.2 in Windows Environment.

And we found that installation hanged and it is not moving forward.


When we check in logs, i found the below error.

java.lang.NullPointerException

at com.oracle.siebel.apiinstaller.InstallerUtility.createDepList(InstallerUtility.java:2789)

at com.oracle.siebel.apiinstaller.InstallerUtility.getBaseInstallProperties(InstallerUtility.java:2267)

at com.oracle.siebel.apiinstaller.GUIAPIInstaller$2.run(GUIAPIInstaller.java:871)

at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

java.lang.NullPointerException

at com.oracle.siebel.WizardHandler$1.run(WizardHandler.java:898)


Due to this Installation is not working properly. Could someone suggest any fix.
