19c Physical Standby created from RMAN backup with standby log error

We recently created 4 physical standby databases using rman backups. The builds were successful and the databases have been running for weeks - opened in real time apply.

However, there is a steady error in the alert log due to an issue with standby logs. We don't use standby logs and did not explicitly create them. Each database has one and each database is reporting a fairly frequent error re: this standby that doesn't exist:

ORA-00313: open failed for members of log group 81 of thread 1

ORA-00312: online log 81 thread 1: '+DATAC2/MUST_RENAME_THIS_LOGFILE_81.4294967295.4294967295'

ORA-17503: ksfdopn:2 Failed to open file +DATAC2/MUST_RENAME_THIS_LOGFILE_81.4294967295.4294967295
