Why are transactions posting to Projects but not to GL?

We are on Oracle EBS R12.2.10.

We have transactions coming across with a transaction source of WIP With Accounts Posted that are posting to Project Accounting but not posting to GL. Our PJM Parameters defined for our inventory orgs are set as:

WIP Person Resource as Straight Time checkbox is checked.

GL Posting Option = Projects

Account Option = Use AutoAccounting

PJM Clearing Account = null

My two questions are:

  1. If GL posting option is set to Projects, then why are these entries posting to Project Accounting but NOT posting to GL?
  2. According to the PJM implementation guide, Work In Process transactions should translate to transaction source "WIP With No Accounts" based on our parameters (GL Posting Option = Projects, Account Option = Use AutoAccounting). Why are we seeing transaction source WIP with Accounts?
