Unable to login on veridata server with service user oracle post OS patching

in GoldenGate, Streams and Distributed Database (MOSC) Question

Product : Oracle Golden Gate Veridata 

Version : 12.2.1.4.220831

Post OS patching on our Live veridata server, we are unable to login on veridata Linux server with service user oracle and it is giving authentication failed error however we are able to run the jobs from Veridata Console. We are able to run the jobs manually from the console. 

Inside the veridata server we have a script that automatically triggers all our daily jobs, but that script is not running and when we try to run the jobs from control-m scheduler it is giving permission denied error.

Could you please let us know what could be the reason for this issue and how can we resolve this issue.
