Trace files are filling up Linux OS file system.
Oracle database 19c
OEL 7
2 node RAC
The issue is happening on node 2 of the 2-node RAC.
I have large trace files filling up my file system and bringing the file system free space to zero and then crashing the instance.
Some of these trace files (located in the same place as the database alert log) can reach the size of tens of GBs.
Is there a way to control the level of database trace file generation?
Yes, I agree that I need to figure out the origin of the large trace files and that troubleshooting is ongoing.
But in the meantime, I'd like to turn tracing off or at least reduce the amount and size of trace files being written the file system.
