Two carriers for one shipment / no intermodal

JD Edwards Enterprise One - Transportation Management

Work with rates and routing.

Is there a way to set up the system so that we can pay two different carriers for one shipment without using an intermodal setup? The issue is that we want to be able to estimate the freight charges, but also have the flexibility to modify them on the freight charges screen. However, with the intermodal setup, it is not possible to make these changes.
