Can Depreciation Run Request Set be disabled?

Hello all,

Our Finance department are asking if we can disable this Depreciation Run Request Set, since their normal process is to only run the depreciation at the end of the month, and this Request Set is running everytime they capitalize or add CIP, etc.

This is an issue for them because auditors always ask why it's depreciated like that since that accounting means that an asset has been retired.
