Spanned VLAN for data replication

Hi,

we have a ZFS ZS7-2 appliance which replicates data to another ZS7-2 at another datacentre. The engineer that set it up desired a spanned VLAN for the replicated filesystems.

We now wish to have each DC in its own VLAN, will we still be able to have workable failover replication in place?
