[FATAL] [INS-32035] The location (/var/opt/oracle/oraInventory) specified for the central inventory

The grid installation version 19.3.0.0 fails with [FATAL] [INS-32035].

We are attempting to install the grid software in silent mode on a stand-alone server with the 19c database already installed.

Because of the contents in orainventory, the installation fails with [FATAL] [INS-32035].

Is there a way to ignore this error? I tried -ignorePrereqFailure -lenientInstallMode however it didn't work.

Error:

[FATAL] [INS-32035] The location (/var/opt/oracle/oraInventory) specified for the central inventory is not empty.

  CAUSE: The specified central inventory location is either locked by a different install session or the location specified does not have write permissions for the logs.
