Interworking of SIP/SIP-I and vice versa

in Acme Packet (MOSC) 4 commentsAnswered ✓

Hello,

Colleagues, could anybody share an experience of configuring the SIP-I/SIP interworking please? I have configured three simple peering pairs in my lab to test the interworking functions. The first and the third trunks are ok and I have no questions for it.

On the second (yellow) trunk I need to change SIP to SIP-I and vice versa depending on the call direction. On SBC01 i created 'sip-profile' and 'sip-isup-profile' with the default settings. Then I assigned 'sip-profile' to SA 'peer2' (left side of SBC01) and 'sip-isup-profile' to SA 'core2' (right side of sbc01). If I call from sip server LAB#1 to sip server LAB#2, then SBC01 transparently forwards INVITE from LAB#1 with the encapsulated ISUP. Interworking does not work. So my question is:

Howdy, Stranger!
