HIPPA 834 EDI files - situational segments like REF01, REF02
Has anyone done customization for HIPPA 834 EDI files to add situational segments like REF01, REF02 as required by the vendor/trading partner?
I came across following Oracle document that suggests customization to handle situational segments but also recommends not to customize BEN100A.sqr, the HIPAA 834 App Engine or its associated SQLs.
How could we add new segments without customizing HIPAA 834 App Engine or its associated SQLs as the same process generates the 834 files?
