Quick Calculation COBOL error

Good morning,

We are on version PeopleSoft 9.2 and are applying PUM 39 through 45. We are using the Quick Calculation feature for the first time and are receiving the below error in certain scenarios:

"COBOL program PSPPYRUN aborted (2, -1) PY_QCAL_DERIVED.RETURN_CD.FieldFormula Name calculate_pay PCPC 8711 Statement: 147 Called from PY_QCAL_DERIVED.PY_QCALC_PB.FieldChange Statement: 12".

This is a fatal error and does not permit us to proceed with Quick Calc for individual. We are trying to find a pattern for the error but have been unsuccessful thus far.

Has anyone encountered this error? If so, what was the cause? Is there a solution?
