R42950 updates price at Sales update despite processing being off

The "Price Process" tab in R42950 for updating prices is turned off. Specifically, all three options under the tab (Price, Price Effective Date, and Retain Sales Order Price Effective Date) are blank. While the cost can be updated during sales updates, it unfortunately also updates the sales price, which is not ideal.

System constants at branch level "Sales price update Based on date" is set to 5 - system date.

Advance is pricing is active, Is there any reason R42950 updating the price at Sales update?
