Not able reports using MSAD users

in Hyperion Financial Reporting Products (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered

Hello Experts,

MSAD users are facing an issue while opening reports which says "The required application module 'reporting.reportViewer' is not configured". This error is only for AD users and not ND users.

We are having SSL MSAD configured and HFR is present in a distributed setup.

In diagnostic report it shows below message.

Check AD_MSAD external authentication provider configuration

Error: EPMCSS-00712: Failed to get users from user directory AD_MSAD. Error connecting to url OU=Corp-Users. RootCause : simple bind failed: hostname:636. Verify MSAD user directory configuration.

Recommended Action: Check that the external provider is accessible and configured correctly in Shared Services.
