Can you apply a database PSU without applying the GI PSU (used for Oracle Restart)

Hello,

Database (single instances): 19.7

Grid (used for Oracle Restart and not RAC): 19.11

Want to be able to apply the latest PSU to the database home but leave the grid infrastructure used for oracle restart alone as the outage will affect other databases running at version 11.2 but are controlled via Oracle Restart.

Is this a viable patching option?

The intention is not to ignore GI forever, but to patch it alongside the db environment next time.
