How to auto-import/preserve connections in SQL Developer 4.2

SQL Developer 4.2

I'm using SQL Developer installed in a common virtual machine (VM). It is like a clean slate every time I login.

I've saved connections in an xml and I import the xml every time I login to the VM.

How do launch SQLDevloper with imported connections (launch with auto-import)? or is there a way to preserve my environment (SQLDeveloper with connections) in the VM
