Latching the RTP SSRC. Is it possible?

  • User A calls user B,
  • user B places the call on hold and probably tries to reach user C to perform the Call transfer
  • During the transferring process PBX generates music on hold.
  • When user C answers the call (or user B resumes the call) SBC blocks his RTP stream towards user A

PBX does not modify the SDP session during the hold, transfer or resume operation and always sends all RTP packets from the same port which was defined in INVITE transaction (point

Howdy, Stranger!
