Siebel Query - regarding Oracle Critical Patching Update - July 2023

Hello fellow Oracle Users,

I'm seeking some clarification on the recent Oracle Critical Patching Update of July 2023. Specifically, I'm trying to understand the necessity of upgrading to version Siebel 23.7.

Given the short notice of this update, I find it challenging to believe that all customers have already transitioned to the Siebel 23.X series. For me the move from Siebel 22.7 to 23.7 seems like a significant undertaking, considering the potential complexity involved in the migration process.

So, I'm curious to know if there is an option to receive patches for Siebel 22.7 instead of upgrading to 23.7? I was anticipating that Oracle would provide patches for 22.7, which would allow us more time for a more gradual and planned transition to 23.X.
