Position Management and Job Reports To

State of Delaware is on PeopleSoft on Premises 9.2, PeopleTools 8.59, Image 40.

We use partial Position Mangement and have multiple incumbents in one Position. When one of those incumbents is a supervisor, the system defaults the reports to on the Job with the lowest employee number, even though that employee number may or may not be the supervisor.

For example, employee 001 and 002 are in Position number P1234. Employee 0003 reports to Position number P1234, but to employee 002 (the system defaults the reports to on Job to employee 001).

Without using position data override or creating a customization, is there a way to identify a supervisor for positions with multiple incumbents?
