hello, i am getting this error: invalid spread sheet data. an application protocol error might exist between server and client processes

i have a spreadsheet that was connected to Essbase. I made a copy. I then try to connect to essbase and get this error: invalid spread sheet data. an application protocol error might exist between server and client processes

my coworker connects just fine. why is my system not allowing me to connect? thank you
