SQL Developer & Log4J 1.x on JDE Enterprise Servers

Hello,

Our monitoring software has flagged Log4J within SQL developer on our JDE Enterprise server. I believe this came along with Oracle client at the time of JDE install.

Is SQL developer needed for JDE ENT & Batch servers to work ? i.e. any impact to JDE kernels if SQL developer is deleted ?

Is there a process to upgrade and mitigate the Log4J 1.X vulnerabilities which is supported with JDE ENT servers.
