i am getting this error while trying to restore my standby from service

in High Availability Data Guard, Sharding and Global Data Services (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

oracle database Version 19.18.0.0.0

RMAN> restore standby controlfile from service <service_name>

ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

ORA-17629: Cannot connect to the remote database server


note: i already copied the password file from primary to the $ORACLE_HOME/dbs
