Restrict 'Copy' record function

Is it possible to restrict the ability for a user to use the 'Copy' record function?

We have a number of auto-populate fields on our BP's that can break if Copy is used instead of Create. Ideally, the auto-populate fields would refresh and work as with a new record, but we have not found that fix either.
