Increasing more no.of threads during mace run

RPAS & MFP Version 16.0.2

Currently during the daily/weekly batch run the rule groups are running with 8 threads. We are planning to increase the thread count from 8 to 16 to reduce the runtime. So, will it lead to anyother issue like data loss/skip or something? This is urgent please help
