solaris 8 getting "cfgadm: Configuration administration not supported"

Hi Oracle Community,

I would like to ask our community experts if there is a way to get cfgadm to work on  Solaris 8 4/01 s28s_u4wos_08 . I am getting the message " cfgadm: Configuration administration not supported when i'm trying to run cfgadm commands. Server is an old Sun Microsystems Netra X1. thanks in advance for any information you can share.
