T&L - Automating extra hour of pay TRC code for missing California meal break
We are on PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll for N/A, Time and Labor version 9.2. We recently applied PUM 45 and are on PT 8.59.14.
Per the legislation for California, if an employee works more than 5 hours without a break, he/she is to be paid one extra hour.
We have the TRC code set up to pay this extra hour pay but we are having difficulty setting up a T&L Rule for it to appear on the Payable Time/Timesheet/reported time.
Examples:
If an employee works 4 hours, then 4 hours, T&L is giving the employee the TRC code which is incorrect. The TRC code should not be given.
