Why is User defined Depreciation adding a Subledger Code and subledger type to the entries

User defined depreciation is creating entries which have a subledger code and subledger type code when there was none there before.

Looking at the F1202, none of the depreciation entries for the past 4 years have created a new F1202 record. We changed the Asset Depreciation Method for Accelerated Depreciation and then ran depreciation for these assets. It created F1202 records with a subledger code (SBL) and subledger type code (SBLT). Why didn't it update the existing F1202 records which have the same BU/OBJ account numbers???
