ERP production Application access and Database Access.

Dear Gurus,

I am supporting Oracle ERP Production support to one of reputed company in Saudi.

we are doing production day to day support and resolution.

I dont have production access but we alll the time requesting our DBA to get access in his PC and we analyzing issue and there by resolution if required.

My question here is , Everytime we need production access , we have to run and get production access from DBA remotely or any Suport consultant like L1,L2 having ERP application or database access ?

Please clarifiy my concern in detail, current process impacting productivity..
