HSA plan on Open Enrollment
Good Day!
We are trying to implement High Deductable Health Plan HSA. As part of HSA following requirements are there.
1)If an employee is already enrolled in FSA for the current year(2023), New Year employee can contribute towards HSA only from April 1st 2024 to the remainder of the year. If the employee do not opt FSA in 2023 then his deductions needs to start from Jan 1st 2024.
2)Employer to contribute half on Jan. 1 and the other half on July 1. So that will be $250 Individual / $500 Family on Jan. 1 and July 1.
3)Is there any prorate option for the new hires/rehires that can be given as part of the middle of the enrollment next year?
