ACFS not running due to incompatible RHEL 8.8 Kernel

Hello everyone,

We recently upgraded to RHEL 8.8 and we were advised to install patch 35068505 for ACFS 19c.

However, when we try to startup the ACFS we are getting this error:

oracleacfs-4.18.0-0425.10.1.e18_7.x86_64.RPM is not compatible with kernel-core-4.18.0-477.10.1.e18_8.x86_64

Bug 35068505 (Currently needs a backport request, please see Note 1)

Note 1 says:

"Note 1 - ACFS support for new OS updates

ACFS support for new OS updates, service packs, and releases may require functional changes and therefore ACFS support may not be provided even though the corresponding Oracle release supports the OS version in question.For questions regarding OS support not shown above, refer to the corresponding tracking Enhancement Request:
