ePerformance Due Date Notifications

My client is on PeopleSoft HCM PUM Image 45 and PeopleTools 8.58.

The ePerformance Due Date Notifications have been configured for the Evaluation step to generate the Warning Reminder and Critical Reminder.

The issue that they are encountering is that the notifications are going out to managers on documents that are in the Completed Status.

Has anyone experienced this issue on the Due Date Notifications? If so, how did you fix it?
