ODA X8-2HA 19.12 with KVM deployment patch to latest version or recommended version

Hi,

I am looking for guidance to patch ODA X8-2HA 19.12 with KVM deployment to the latest available release 19.20 or recommended version. I am trying to follow https://docs.oracle.com/en/engineered-systems/oracle-database-appliance/19.12/cmtxn/patching-oda.html#GUID-F28EE29B-5047-42C8-AEE5-D8281D48EA3A but I am not clear what are the basic steps when it comes to KVM ODA deployment. We have two dbsystems and two VMs on ODA. I assume that it is not possible to directly patch from 19.12 to 19.20 - what are the intermediate steps? I would be grateful if someone could share their experience with the KVM ODA patching.
