Active Data Guard

Hello,

I have general question regarding Active Data Guard.

I have few ADG installation and in each the same issue. During redo transport/apply is on, I see much lower "Latency For Synchronous Single Block Reads" in Oracle Eneterprise Manager. Once I stop redo transport/apply, "Latency For Synchronous Single Block Reads" is better (the same as in primary database). When redo transport/apply is active, i/o latency is approx 10-times worse.

Why? What is wrong? I see the same issue in each my installation. Storage is the same on primary and standby side.
