Best way to run an Oracle 12 Database on ODA X9?

We have an ODA X9 and need it to host both version 19 and 12 databases. There doesn't seem to be any image clones for version 12 for the X9. Is the only way to achieve this to run a Oracle Linux VM on the ODA and install the database on it? Are there any VM templates available or would I just need to use the regular OL 7.9 ISO?
