LOV is accepting invalid data in OAF

Hi forum,

Oracle 12.2.2. Jdeveloper 10G.

I have a custom page in which I have LOV (inline/External LOV).

When I enter the data in LOV field and tab out, it opens a popup/select values page to pick from the list, but if I close the select window without selecting any and just hit save with the invalid data (which is not in list), it is saving.

Help me to avoid the above invalid data.
