is there a way to prevent transactions (item adjustments, reclassifications, transfers) from taking place for a items that have a certain IMSRP6 value for a particular branch plant?

we have a custom application that we use for returns and we would like to prevent IAs, ITs and I2 from taking place on a certain group of item at our branch plant 1000 where the IMSRP6 ='62'

Marking the items obsolete doesn't prevent this from happening
