running adop phase=apply apply_mode=downtime when database crashed

Trying to upgrade an on premise 12.1.3 env to 12.2 and at a point where I am running this step to apply the 12.2.12 RUP update via:

adop phase=apply apply_mode=downtime patches=33527700

Unfortunately a process on another VM filled up our snapshot reserve area and suffice to say my db hung and the connection went away and in my scramble to get things going my snapshots got removed so I don't have a restore point. If I have to start over I will but just wondering how I would/could recover form this.

I have tried:

bash-4.2$ adop phase=abort,cleanup cleanup_mode=full
