SF Account Types

Hello,

Would there be any impact if a change was made to the Description, Short Description, or Account Nbr Prefix fields in a long-time used Account Type?

The campus tested it, and the Account Type short description changes in the student account on all the terms including the old terms, but the Account Nbr Prefix remain the same. The new prefix is only added to new transactions.

Will it be any impact for adjustments done to old transactions?
