Custom ADR not working as expected

We are on Oracle EBS 12.2.8 and are implementing tax books for the India entity to meet some of the local accounting requirements.

One of the requirements is to have some of the COA segments such as Cost center, Primary Coverage country, Business Unit with specific values for specific journal line types like Periodic Depreciation reserve, Additions cost etc. This rule applies only to 3 asset categories inthe Corporate book only.

We configured the ADR as per attached document and attached them to the journal line types but Create Accounting is ending in a warning as it's unable to derive these values. Could somebody please help troubleshoot this as I'm at my wits end! Oddly, it works in another environment when we use "Book Description" instead of "Book type code" in the ADR under conditions but I'd like to use the latter as it's more safe.
