AP Checks - how to add a signature using BI Publisher

We are printing our AP checks and they are getting stamped with a signature. We need to change the process to print the signature on the checks.

What are the requirements for storing a signature? Do we need to make changes to R04572 to grab the stored signature or can it be picked up by BI Publisher?
