Create a compensating earning element to match with Medical pre tax deduction

in Payroll and OTL - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi,

We have a Medical pre tax deduction element in place and is working fine.

As part of a new requirement we need to create a new earning element to compensate and match with Medical pre tax deduction. Should we create this new element like any other earning element and where do we match the earning amount with the deduction amount.
