Question about the tables in memory using NBME hard disks.
Oracle Database EE 19.10 on IBM AIX 7.2
Hi
Some years ago, when we used physical servers with mechanical hard disks, eventually we got better response times placing the critical tables in memory. Now, we are using storage systems with solid disks of NVMB type (storage flash systems).
So my question is, placing tables in memory is still a good option to improve the response time? Or since the database uses flash disks is there no longer a benefit?
