Mass update job type and steps on many Position IDs

E1 9.2 Update 7 up to Feb 2023

We are making some widespread changes in our job classifications and have many Position IDs that will have a new Job Type/Step assigned to them. Any suggestions on how to do this? I didn't see any standard programs that are designed to perform mass updates to Job Type/Step on Position ID so my first thought is SQL. Second idea is Orchestrations but we aren't really up and running with Orchestrations yet.

My question is, if we use SQL can we just update the Job Type/Step in F08101 Position Master table or are there other tables that also need to be updated if we are updating the Job Type/Step on a Position ID?
