Does anybody have any workaround solution for it if ESU patch isn't an immediate possibility?

Observing Excess planned order messages as being explained in this document- E1: 34: MRP Generates Excess Planned Order Requirements For Items Setup with Periods of Supply, Min and Max Multiple Quantities (R3483) (Doc ID 2205572.1)

Very intermittent. Cause shared in this document is-  Incorrect logic in B3400500.  And

First question- how do we correct B3400500? Secondly as opposed to the document, in our scenario, issue is also observed with with Order policy code  Lot for Lot.

Does anybody have any workaround solution for it if ESU patch isn't an immediate possibility?
