How to confirm oracle database is "aware" of the new OS kernel update?

hi,

The kernel version of our OS (Oracle Linux 7.9) has been updated from kernel version 4.14.35-2047.527.2.el7uek.x86_64 (key work uek), to kernel version 3.10.0-1160.99.1.0.1.el7.x86_64 (key world e17)

Is there anything I need to run, to make sure oracle database is "aware" of the new OS kernel version?

From what I remember, in my lab environment

1) I should shutdown the database/services

2) let the Oracle Linux kernel get updated (by someone else who is responsible for the upgrade)

3) run "$ORACLE_HOME/bin/relink all" and check logs for any error

4) run /u01/app/oracle/product/19.0.0/dbhome_1/root.sh

Howdy, Stranger!
